If you already have a website for your hotel that you are happy with and you just want to add an online booking engine, we have the solution for you. Of course there are many hotel booking engines out there, but very few provide the level of customization and online marketing opportunities as HIH-Res does. While most booking engine providers use a standard format that looks the same with all hotels, our booking engine is personalized to match the look and feel of your hotel website. You probably spent a lot of money and time on your hotel website, so when the customer clicks the Book Now button, it’s not a good idea to send them to a boring white screen. This is the most important step in converting an online visitor into a paying guest, so they shouldn’t feel that you are sending them to a third party website to complete their reservation. The rooms should have full descriptions with attractive photos. This is your chance to show the customer what they are getting for the money they are spending. We see too many hotels with nice hotel websites, but with boring booking engines which have plain text and rates without any photos or descriptions.
Our extranet is extremely easy and simple to use. Our rate grid is shown here where you can easily click into each box and quickly modify the individual rate or inventory available. Restrictions such as close to arrival, close to departure or minimum length of stay can also easily be adjusted here. There is also a Bulk Update option in case you want to make changes over a longer period of time. Our extranet is fully compatible with EZ-Yield and Channel Plus channel management systems. Best of all, if you use Opera, Protel, GuestCentrix, Epitome, Medallion, Portfolio or Hetres as your hotel PMS, we can deliver your hotel website bookings seamlessly into your PMS!
Another feature that makes us truly unique and that our hotel clients love about HIH-Res, is that finally you can make your own hotel website bookable in Trip Advisor. The example above is for the New Yorker Boutique Hotel in Miami. As you can see, if a customer chooses to book the hotel directly in Trip Advisor, they can choose between booking through Travelocity, or directly through the hotel’s own website.
Another great feature about our hotel booking engine is that you have the ability to load promotional rates that are visible only to those that you choose! For example, if your best available rate is $199 per night, you could load a promotional rate of $149 per night, and only allow certain customers to see that rate. This is a great way to provide deals to certain channels or certain markets without falling into rate parity issues with OTAs.
